Broken Hearted Hoover Fixer Sucker Guy...

We just watched Once.

I'm not usually a sucker for after Christmas sales, but I couldn't pass up these beauties that were on sale:
Madeline Tosh Sock yarn - 100% merino in colorways lichen and kale

I also wanted to try out BFL yarn and see how soft it is for myself so stayed tuned and I'll let you know what I think. From Maplehillhanddyed.

Today we tried to take the girls to the library but they were closed. : (

Then we went to find a bakery I read about on Not Martha: Lola's South City Bakery. We had forgotten the address at home and were driving around the area it was in. At first we didn't find it and we stopped at Columbia City Bakery. They had a yummy Cranberry Upside Down cake for 1/2 price...which was just the right price. We did find Lola's after that stop. I had told C that the South City Bakery, which started with an "L" name was not on Rainier and was not right on Orcas. Well, how wrong can I be? It was right on Rainier and was almost on the corner of Orcas & Rainier. It is owned by a couple and the husband was working. He was so helpful and we were able to buy bread for #2 daughter and homemade sorbet made with sugar and not corn syrup! It was a very find and we will be visiting there again.

Daughter #1's Birthday....

We now officially have a teenager in the house! She is so excited to finally be 13. It's also Christmas Eve and excitement is in the air. There is Joy in celebrating the birth of our King!

Welcome to my new home...

I've changed my moniker from "inkyimpressions" to "Andi I Knit"....or "Andi Knit" since my days of madly rubberstamping everything have passed by and knitting is something I have enjoyed for almost 16 years.
